The Props
After many years of making models for advertising agencies, food stylists, photographers, animators and filmmakers, Model Produce has amassed an extensive collection of of highly realistic artificial fruit, flowers, leaves, roots and seed props along with some other odd things like slugs and cheese!
Our models are hired on a weekly basis for photographic use. The stock is constantly updating so if you don't see what you're looking for give us a call and we'll be very happy to help.
As a rule of thumb we would ask at least a week's notice for items not in stock, which we're happy to hire you. We charge a bit more if they are a low demand item, but still a lot less than it would to buy a bespoke commission.
Most of our props can be bought for around 3 times the hire price given .
International orders
International hire orders carry a slightly higher hire price, but you will have 2 weeks in which to return them. Please ask for a quote.
We ask for a deposit equal to the hire price, which will be refunded if the items are returned within 2 weeks. Full payment must be received via Paypal before items can be sent . There is also a 6.5% charge added to cover paypal conversion fees & charges.

Models are usually sent via Royal mail's Special delivery service, guaranteed by 1pm, at cost of about £10. They will also deliver before 9am for about £25 (inc a £3 packing charge), but care must be taken when ordering this way as they may attempt delivery very early and if there's no-one in, the parcel will be sent back to the depot and can't be accessed for 24hrs!
International deliveries
We aim to ship worldwide with within 36 hours for items in stock (once payment is received). Next day delivery is usually between £50-£85 but the cost can be reduced significantly for 2-3 day deliveries.
IMPORTANT: Customs Clearance for Orders Outside of the EU. If you are customer based outside of the EU, customs charges (import duty and local tax) will be payable on your order. These charges are beyond the control of Model Produce and will vary from country to country and also depending upon the specific products or materials ordered.
When your goods arrive in your country you will be contacted by the courier (or shipping agent) to pay the import duty and taxes which you must do in a timely manner. If you do not pay the import duty and taxes then your goods cannot be cleared through customs and cannot be delivered to you. In this event, they will be disposed of or returned to us at your cost. In the event of returned goods due to failure to clear goods through customs, the cost of outward delivery and return delivery will be subtracted from the value of the returned goods before any refund is made.
